you take your bulbs with you. pretty soon light bulbs will become heirlooms that are passed from generation to generation because they last so long.

Good deal, but if you need more than one 6-pack of the Philips bulbs, it would be cheaper to buy them in 4-packs.

For 12 bulbs, buying two 6-packs would cost $29.92. ($14.96 ea.)
For 12 bulbs, buying three 4-packs would cost $29.91. ($9.97 ea.)

A penny is a penny! laugh out loud

Good deal. I may be ignorant here, but I thought most leds are rated for 20,000hrs/20 years. is that why these are so cheap?

EDIT : Looks like the 20+ year bulbs run about $20 for a 4 pack. They are about twice as expensive, so I guess these would make sense unless you plan on staying at your residence for 20 more years.

If you guys are interested, some Costco in so Cal have 40 watt soft white bulbs, 3 pack for $4.80 if southern California Edison is the utility company that serves the area.

Got a bunch of Feit Electric bulbs at Costco with a similar rebate as mentioned by the above poster. I got some 60w replacement bulbs just like these and they all buzzed pretty loudly. Had to go back. The BR30 and BR40 were even worse.

My dining room chandelier has candle style bulbs - but with a normal sized screw mount same as this bulb deal. Problem is if I put the bulbs from this deal in the chandelier, you can see the tops of the bulbs over the chandelier glass surrounds.

I haven't seen LED deals for the type of bulbs in my chandelier . What are people using to replace these type of chandelier bulbs?

10,000 hours is low for leds...otherwise not bad of a price.

HD has had the 2 pack of the Philips LEDs for $5 for months now. Why is this a deal?
