Beats the current Best Buy pricing by 100 dollars PLUS you get a 4 year SquareTrade warranty thrown in.

http://www.samsclub.com/sams/vizi...navAction=

Sams Club members $1248
non members 1293 (includes $45 dollar membership)

The SquareTrade warranty is valued over $100 at Amazon alone.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

12 million is pretty steep..if they threw in a $150 Dell gift card it would be a real slick deal then.

Well at least this is middle of the road..

I don't really tend to buy warranty's with tv's and have never had an issue...tv's always seem to last 10+ years for me and I throw them away and they still work!

that price though
you would think for $12 million they could extend the warranty a little lol

(price shows up as over $12 million on mobile)

If you wanted the warranty anyway, then I'd say this is a pretty slick deal based on previous deals posted here.

I agree. I personally bought this from Best Buy last night. I was able to price match 1299 at Costco with them and applied movers coupon on top of that for $1169.10 before tax. Not sure if that's standard practice or I just got lucky.

I'm not sure they would price match the current Sams Club pricing at Best Buy because they are "different items" with the Square Trade warranty being included (since BestBuy does not offer it) Best Buy seams to very particular with that type of thing and price matching.

YMMV I guess.

On a side note: Is Square Trade something that is commonly added to a piece of equipment over $1000 like this? Never bought one and not sure I should. Bought with gift cards so no extra protection from credit card.

As far as warranties go I never buy them, take the money and put it into a savings account. Warranties are a big money maker for stores. It's basically a scam to the consumer.

Re: Square Trade Warranties...I bought a Square Trade Warranty for each of my 2 80" Sharp TVs, but I bought the Square Trade Warranties at Costco, and the TVs online. I reasoned that 2 $99.99 (plus tax) warranties were cheap enough for $3,700 + TVs. The Costco Square Trade Warranty added 3 years BEYOND the manufacturers warranty. So, any repair over a period of 4 years and 3 months will be covered. If you really want an extended warranty on a TV, I would definitely look into the Costco/Square Trade deal!

I bought this for 1275 approximately on BF from Costco. it is a dandy tv for sports/gaming. I would absolutely buy it again. for the cost, you're getting a lot of tv. the biggest complaint I have seen in my research is the smart tv interface. Vizio focused on picture in my opinion.

Anyone think this TV will go any lower in the next two months? I'm really looking at it but a buddy keeps telling me to wait... He's one cheap bastardo, so I'm guessing he knows something I don't?

I usually agree with this.

But I just had a check sent to me for $750 from SquareTrade for a VIZIO M series 1080p that was developing some strange backlight irregularities.

So in this case? Paying the 60 bucks or whatever, let me score another TV 2 years later.

Iirc failure rates for the average TV sold in the US is 4% within the first year and 8% within the first 4 years. There was inflated failure rates in the range of 10-20 years ago due to the capacitor plague, but that shouldn't be an issue anymore.
