Tents are expensive as hell. I need a 8-10 man tent. Anyone know of any good deals.

If you're just going out once or twice, you might try renting one. Some college sports departments do this, if you're a student. REI also rents tents, if you have one of those nearby. Failing that, call your local camping/sporting goods folks and ask about tent rentals. Happy camping!

Camping equipment deals can be found second hand. So many people get passionate about this hobby and buy great equipment they only use for a season or two. The kids start doing sports year round, preventing camping opportunities, a bad weather dampens the enthusiasm for the hobby, and just life gets in the way.

Check out local used sales... craigslist etc.

For a tent that big RobinMarie is right, Craigslist or your local classifieds are your best bet.
It would help if you gave more details: where are you going to camp? For how long? What season, altitude, etc.
If you are going to camp in nasty weather for more than a couple of days you really need a "cabin tent." (or a camper!)
