Gives you a discount on a bundle if you already own bits of it.

I LOVE THIS. Great on them for implementing it even though I own like 2 Steam games...hopefully this can roll out to other game Stores. I know I have not bought multiple bundles because I own part of it and don't feel like I would be getting "a deal". It is the SDer in me, what do I say.

Apparently it is already priced out on some bundles, mostly ones from Valve as it appears the Publisher/Dev has to go in and set the discounts.

It's an interesting idea, not sure it will suck me in.

Think about who you're talking to. He probably feels dirty owning any games from a non-Microsoft platform.

Although I suppose they could have been GFWL games. The debacle I went through with buying Fable 3 on Steam and still having to do the GFWL stuff was pretty enraging.

I owe Left 4 Dead and Portal. I have not played either one on the PC though, and have nearly completed them both on my 360. Never did get around to the marathon kill counts in L4D.

I have 4 GFWL, basically little freebies.

You've only nearly completed Portal? That's a pretty short game nod
Or do you mean "still got achievements to achieve"?

I have played all of them through, but yes, all the achievements = complete. I have completed Portal 2, but neither Portal on Orange Box nor L4D / L4D2. I have played maybe 3 matches on L4D on Steam, probably all with Jabs.

Yeah, fraudulent methods of obtaining things are often cheaper.

It's not fraud. Brazil has a lower economy and games are cheaper. I buy a global game that activates globally, nothing illegal. Same way United Kingdom people pay more for games, their economy is different.

An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject.
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

you are buying keys from 3rd party that were intended for a different country. pretty sure if you read the terms/eula that came with the game it would probably say something about that key being intended for use where it was purchased. granted they haven't enforced it but it still doesn't make it right.

the truth is that if people take advantage of "regional" discounts (or fraud as people put it) they will change. either the price will go up in other regions or they will region lock keys. like how dvds and blu rays work.
