**4K Ultra HD**

Some of you already have a 4K player [amazon.com] and have been looking for 4K movies. These 4K UHD movies all cost $26+ elsewhere.

On top right sign up for their club membership which is free and get a 30% off code. New email accounts only. (You can just create a new account with a different email address)

If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Never going to happen. You need HDMI 2.0.
it also depends on how you sit from the TV. the closer you sit to the tv, the more likely you'll see the difference.

If you are in CA, Crutchfield [crutchfield.com] is taking orders and no tax for most. I preordered mine before release and arrived 3 weeks ago.

Are these in 4K really worth $18? That's been the price point for every home media since the 80s.

I kind of want to see Fantastic Four just to see why everyone says it's so awful, but I don't think anyone should want to own it (even in fantastic 4K.)

$18 has never been a universal price point. Blu Ray disks could typically be found for $40 when they first came out.

If that is the price point, didn't you just answer your own question?

Some of them are recent releases, Peanuts is brand new, definitely a decent price on those.
4k releases are brand new, so yes this is a good starting point if you want to try 4K now.

Also they include a Bluray version as well.

Yes it gets emailed and takes few minutes. If you used gmail, search for foxconnect in your email. Mine was under "promotions" tab

4K movie is ok for TV screen 65" and above. There is no significant image quality improvement for screen 55" and below. So blu ray is just fine. I do not want to pay any premium until the dust is settled.

Were these recorded in 4K or would these be "upconverted" from another resolution? (sorry to the HT Techies if my question is not properly phrased)
