Just as stated on the title, I was browsing around eBay and trying to see if I can find an affordable macbook as opposed to spending over 1 grand. I came upon this manufacturer refurbished macbook pro. The 128 gb SSD is a big of a let down but not a bad price in my opinion for the laptop.

Anyhoo, just wanted to share

Looks like it is straight from Apple Refurb. They have been dumping product on ebay the past few years when the refurb inventory on the apple store doesn't move quickly enough.
This means full warranty, new shell and battery but no box.

Does this retain the same warranty as buying refurbished from Apple?

Edit: Found this: “Apple Certified Refurbished Product w/Apple Warranty”

Sorry for my inability to read.

TU. We can go on and argue how Apple products are overpriced but this is a really good price even for a refurbished. Many will save on tax. Too bad the 3x eBay bucks offer expired just some time back. I assume there are still no ssd expansion hacks available for 2015 mbp yet.

What are the chances this is actually refurbished by Apple and not someone else? I don't understand how they'd get their hands on this.

The eBay money back guarantee would protect you well here.

Just check the warranty with Apple once you get it. If it isn't still active, send it back for free.
