Cheapest price this card has been other than last Black Friday at the same price, and currently the cheapest "name brand" 128gb card from a reputable seller.

Just picked one up for my new S7 Edge

The write speed is too slow for 4k. Get a Samsung Pro+ 64GB or 128GB

I just got the LG V10 and I'm looking for a card this size. Does anyone know if this is fast enough for recording 4k, or should I write to the phone's memory then transfer to the card for storage?

I have 20MB/s write on my microSD and 4K on the phone works until the 5 minute limit. I am not sure about newer phones, but I think 4K on a phone is compress enough that you can get away with the EVO+. For other devices like the Sony A7R II or other higher bitrate 4K recording devices, I would recommend the Samsung Pro+.

Just goes to show you how much I buy from Amazon. Well, this really kills Amazon for me now!

Yikes, didn't realize that either....seems like they're really pushing people into Prime. Guess they want viewers for all their new Prime Video original content.

I found out, ungracefully, just a few weeks ago.
I'd reached my $35 cart minimum limit and placed my order.
Love Amazon.... didn't pay enough attention.
I got my receipt in my e-mail; I flipped.
I on-line chatted, and got the shipping charges reversed;
it had changed on that day.
I, now, have to wait until my cart fills to $50.
My immediate thought was that this was going to change my
shopping pattern with Amazon.
I don't imagine there will be much damage to Amazon.
'Prime' is popular enough, I suppose.

This ^^.

Sadly, businesses are concerned about what they get from you, not what they do for you. Prime is costing them a lot on shipping, but since they already build the shipping cost into the price it's a win for Amazon.

Regular customers are just not important anymore. It's only the customers that are providing extra cash that interest them. I could wrap my mind around $35, not so much at $50.

My response - buy my books at B&N, buy tech at BB (when possible), but some home stuff at Target, et. al. and make Amazon a "vendor of last resort".
