What is the price of the Carmex? This is the first I've heard of this deal. Unfortunately, I bet the IP I printed for when it was an RR deal at Wag's has probably expired. I never used it cause they didn't have the right 'lip balm' producing RR.

Yeah--kind of pricey everywhere! I was able to get a 5* hotel pretty cheap IBN Battuta Hotel [moevenpick-hotels.com] bidding on Priceline. That was my ony SD. No coupons or deals here! There is a pretty cheap $13 boat trip on the Dubai Ferry [youtube.com] so you can see all the mega yachts owned by the sheiks and fancy hotels along the coast. Kinda neat!

Was able to print two of the Riesen coupons. But gah! the pinkification is on again for another month. As a breast cancer survivor, I really hate the way everyone jumps on the bandwagon with pink ribbons plastered everywhere from toilet paper to junk food. Who do they think they are kidding?

The 'scanning the wrong PP card saga' continues. Remember a while back the cashier scanned another card on my keys and the register accepted it as a PP card but my digital coupons didn't come off? I matched the numbers and figured out it was an A&P card. I never go there, so I took it off along with a bunch of others that I rarely use. I only kept my SR card, StopnShop, Toysrus, and my YMCA card.

I thought I was really careful about how I handed the cashier my card this time. Unfortunately, the cashier scanned another card again. I thought my total was high. I usually spend $60 or less and my total was $116. But it was a trainee cashier and it literally took her 30 minutes to check me out, I had 2 kids with me and it was now dinner time, so I just left. So I looked at my receipt later and one of the cards scanned in as an item I purchased for $59.45. It scanned in as "spicy snow peas" I have no idea what this is or why it's so expensive. In hindsight I should have realized this because after she scanned a few items I handed her my card and she scanned it, but then at the end of the transaction, the trainer (who was bagging) noticed that a PPC hadn't been entered yet, so she scanned my card again. So it seems like the first time she actually scanned a different item.

Thankfully, CS was super easy to deal with about this. I went in this evening and went to the CS desk and immediately she knew it was weird. She called over the manager on duty and she thought it was another card that got scanned accidentally. It was very easy and it only took a minute or two. I was shocked, I thought they were going to have to review video tapes, or I was going to have to come back and talk to the store manager or something. I really thought I might not get it back. I'm going to send a note online about the CS person. The last thing I had to deal with there was a gallon of milk I bought that was several days past expiration and they weren't even nice or apologetic about it. This person was actually helpful and nice about it--it makes a big difference.

It's supposed to be $1.49, I couldn't find it though, so I can't confirm. The regular Carmex was $.99 I think and there's a $.30 IP I think. My store had lots of that, but I don't like it. My store just redid the area where the lipbalm is. It's near the pharmacy on shorter aisles. Everything was very neat and organized (it's new from when I was there the last time). Couldn't find it anywhere.

Just wanted to mention that i had this exact issue at toyrus, they accidentally scanned my shoprite card and it rang up an item that was over $20. Luckily I noticed right way, be careful what card scans where, lol!

Cashiers have accidentally scanned my Stop & Shop card at ShopRite and it rings up as Turkey Breast for over $100.

carmex..... our store has it listed as a discontinued item...at least the moisture plus
could not find it where it was supposed to be but this store also just had a "reset" and no one can find anything (

I printed these but just an idea, since these are regular price @1.49, I will hold onto these qs till 10/14 to start earning the points for free turkey/ham/kosher chicken. I really want to earn a freebie on each of my cards so I cant donate one to our local pantry. Getting 300 on each card is usually a work out.
