Anyone know if the Pumpkin Pie PopTarts are half price ?

Anyone find anything on Christmas clearance??

I rarely find any clearance at my stores. They seem to just leave the items then one day they'll fill a cart with them and mark them down. Things like Holiday candy (bags of Hershey's etc) rarely get marked down. I think they just hope to sell out of them at regular price.

I found bags of holiday themed chocolate (Nestle Crunch, butterfingers, Hershey's Kisses and some Russell Stover Santa shaped chocolate marshmallows ... etc.) for 50% off, so around $1.79 for the bags of chocolate. They were $1.99 at Target today for comparsion sake.

I saw some Glade holiday candles on the clearance table marked full price for $2.49. They didn't get a chance to mark them down in the system yet. They told me they are just gathering everything on the tables and don't know when they will get to marking them down. So if the candles go 50% it would be $1.24, use the $.75/1 found in the magazines and if they double it will be free.

Can Can sale starts January 3rd.

ACK!!!! Just lost my whole garage freezer full of food.

Was it a hurricane? Nope ..... Was it a snow storm? Nope ..... the culprit? CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!

So my nativity by my garage stopped lighting a few days ago and I figured just leave it since the power strip probably got wet ... whatever.... Christmas was almost over and I will fix it before putting it away. SO my freezer is plugged into the same outlet in the garage and since I wasn't cooking ... I had no idea the whole thing was thawing out! Everything mushy ............

Can't whine for long ... still grateful for everything we have.
