more often than not shoprite has 4-day loss leader sales wed-sat. this has been going on for many, many yrs. they have conditioned me to shop either wed or friday, first day of 4-day sale or when they are restocked on friday. thursday is the worst b/c they are almost always out of the sale items i want and all i end up w/ is a fist full of rainchecks.

sun-thurs i go to stop and shop if there are any deals to be had. i usually don't go fri-sat until the deals have been tested.

Totally off topic, but was not sure where to put this. Not SR related, but some here live in the area.

Just want to point out that DiGiorno pizza is/will be on sale at many stores either this week or next week at 4.99. Too bad the ips expire 7 days from print and if you wait too long to print they would be gone.
But it can be a better deal at a store where these coupons autodeduct the max amount 7.01 - cvs and Target. Target has a deal this week 4.99 and free Edy's fruit bars wyb 2 of them. So Buy 6 use 2 b2g1f and get 3 Edy's fruit bars. CVS has them at 4.99 next week. I'll be getting mine at cvs since I go there anyway and we have to pay for parking at our Target, arrgh - that kills all the savings.

P&G does this because they don't want to have any days where there are no valid coupons. So if no insert today, no P&G coupons from Jan 1-Jan.6 after the Dec 31,2012 ones expire.

I noticed the customer in line ahead of me did that with no problems. I personally didn't tho, so take with a grain of salt.
