I think this has been mentioned before, but I just wanted to report the results of a little "test" I ran tonight at my local SR. I have one store about 25 minutes away; the next one is an hour away in DE. So I'm always looking for ways to maximize the effectiveness of my trips.... Anyway, when I went there tonight at about 7 p.m., next week's sale prices were already in effect for everything that I tested, as well as this week's sales still working.
For example, I already got my $0.50 AC Hatfield ham steaks and $0.49 AC ScotchBrite sponges. The only thing I forgot was the Butterball turkey burgers , and the only strawberries they had out were SeaBreeze instead of Driscoll, so I still have to go back sometime next week. ![]() Still, it could be very useful information depending on expiring Qs or getting a lower sale price as part of a CAT deal, etc... Did the MinuteMaid deal at four for $13 - 2 x $2/2 Acme booklet MFQ - $3 CAT back = $6 or $1.50 a pack. Heads up, though, that the $2/2 beeps for some reason at SR. So did $1/1 TicTacs. Cashier entered them all manually, but I didn't go back for a second round of MinuteMaid like I was originally planning. ![]() Oh, I also did the OS deo deal x 3 using some BOGO deo MFQs from Charmin packs a *long* time ago... The three $2 store CATs printed before I paid, and the cashier said I could use them on that transaction. Since they were all identical SR "LiveRight" store CATs, I figured only one would go through, but all three scanned just fine w/o the cashier having to do anything extra... I left confused, but happy!

Howdy, SR regulars!! I'm back from vacation!!!!
Carolina Rice is still 99 cents this week. Santa Cruz organic lemonade is $1.19 here so still worth stocking up on with the 75-cent Q (my SR only doubles to $1). Feline Pine cat litter is an awesome deal @ $1.99 with the $1.50 Q. Hatfield $2 Q on $2.50 ham steaks also excellent buy. Thanks to all the OPs; will try to contribute something worthwhile later in the week

Wiki says for this week 6/19-6/25
I looked for the Butterball burgers. The BB website mentions Frozen All Natural Turkey Burgers, which I thought might have less additives, but I could only find two boxes (one opened) of Frozen Seasoned Turkey Burgers. They scanned at $7.50 so I put them back. I couldn't see any other size. I didn't notice the weight, but maybe it was a larger size than the one that's on sale. |
