Thread Details

How about sharing all the great deals we get at shoprite here? Let's just keep this one thread until we get "bigger". Please, post your best deals.

WIKI should have all the weekly deals and we'll keep this thread just one. All are encouraged to add any coupons/deals to such. Happy Shopping!!!

I Guess No One Wants to be the First One to Post Today - I suppose I will:

I just got back from picking up my Whole Boneless Pork Loin that is on a 2 Day Sale today & tomorrow for $0.99 cents a Lb. (with an additional $10 purchase).
I got a BIG 6 Lb. Pork Loin for $6.00. A Very Good Deal. I know it says in the ad (10 to 12 Lb. average) - I was lucky to find a smaller one on this deal.

I hope everyone had a Great Thanksgiving Yesterday and a Deal Worthy Black Friday Today . . . .

Re purchasing the $100 AmEx to get $20 loaded onto your SR card for next week--there was a sign at a NJ SR that said AmEx is not selling their cards in NJ anymore. So--if you're in NJ, better have a Plan B. I know I was going to do it until I saw that. Will check another SR, but it's probably state-wide.

no amex at Greenwich nj either. called customer service line to see if they would be substituting visa gift cards or something else for jersey stores. cs had no idea about the amex pulling their cards in jersey but they took my name and # and said they would look into it and call me back. (this was at 3oclock) if I hear anything from them I'll post it.

Based on past experience it comes off on any purchase right after cashier hits Total button, putting you into negative if it's less than $20.

Note that the first day of redemption is Monday, not Sunday.
I"m a bit slow. Does this mean that you need to spend $20 or more in a single transaction to get the full value of the $20 loaded to your SR card?

So to recap the two gift card deals...
You can buy on Friday or Saturday a $100 American Express gift card... I think the charge is $5.95 (may be $6.95) and get $20 credit on your next week's order. Still a MM. Then use the AE card to buy your groceries the next week and you'll have $20 credit to use toward the Kraft and other deals, which gets you a $10 card for gas or even another SR gift card.
Is the $5.95 (or $6.95) fee paid at time of purchase? So you pay $105.95 for a $100 Amex giftcard?

I thought that I could use a $100 giftcard to buy gas. Then I also have an NBPR from Coors -- Save $10 after rebate when you buy $50 or more in giftcards.

What store is that? Maybe it's worth a road trip!

I have to double check, but I was in Staples last week doing their GC deal and unless I am imagining it, I remember picking up (but not buying) an American Express card there. I am going to double check sometime soon.

I shop Greenwhich NJ and also have heard about the NJ AMEX problem but thought it was resolved. Puts a snag in my shopping if I can't get one.

Have to think of Plan B.

Coupon Policy Question: Does ShopRite allow a $1/2 coupon with a B2G1 Free coupon (for the 2 you are paying full price)?

I cannot find it in the coupon policy [shoprite.com]...

My SR would not allow it, but this might be a YMMV situation. Technically B2G1 Free is covering all 3 products, but I bet some stores might allow it. Also depends on how coupon is coded and if it will beep. I would try it and see what happens if its something you really want to get.

TYVM I'll rep when I can...can do it @ Price Chopper if you give the $1/2 before the B2G1 coupon as the B2G1 usually asks for price...
