Catalina info-What are shelf, sale, price plus prices? credit couponmami
  • There 3 prices at SR:
    • 1. Shelf, the price on the sticker on the shelf
    • 2. Sale, the price of the item on sale, no price plus card needed to get the sale price
    • 3. Price Plus price, card needed to get the item at that price (usually a limit of 4 per variety or must by 2 or 4 offers and so forth)
  • When calculating which prices to use to obtain a oyno cat (pay $$, get $):
  • The only time you can really calculate a "spread" is if the item is on price plus discount, then it would be calculated on the pre price plus price (which would either be the sale price or the shelf price, the lesser of the two). Usually items on Price Plus discount are also on sale from their regular shelf price, and then discounted further by use of your card. So you would have to use the pre price plus card price which is usually the sale price when calculating to obtain a $$ wyb $ CAT.
  • If the item is on sale, and you don't need a price plus card to get the sale price, then you would use the sale price in your calculations.
  • How to tell the difference when looking in the ad:
  • Sale - When looking in the ad, if there is NO price plus card and in a red circle/starburst it says "Save $.$$" or "1/2 price".
  • Price Plus price - When looking in the ad, if there is a price plus card icon and in a square with red on top and white on the bottom it says "you save $.$$", then the item is on Price Plus discount.
  • Lastly, you could always ring a transaction without scanning your card, to ensure that the total meets the minimum needed to receive a $when you buy $$ CAT. Then scan your card and your coupons

Since we don't know where you are from, this is a hard question. You would have to check all the stores in your area, since you'd have to go pick it up and you wouldn't want to travel out of state, etc!
Oh, sorry.. anywhere in Central NJ?

Wish they came in Women's varieties.
Sorry the additional $2 MQ wouldn't work. Frown I thought it was worth a try because I had used a BOGO Pantene with an additional MQ before so just depends on how P&G coded it.

OT: The women's BOGO Qs are auto deducting at Target like Jen said. (Unless the cashier overrides it.) The cheapest Venus Simply is $6.24/pack and Q is deducting $11.99 so $0.49 for 2 packs. Buy $50 worth and do the $15 MIR [olay.com]

Thanks so much for posting this deal! hug I just took advantage of this deal and bought four $25 Shell gift cards and one $50 ShopRite gift card. Got the $20 Cyber Monday discount AND because my total was over $100, they waived the $10 Shop at Home fee as well! So it ended up costing me $130 and I got back $150 in gift cards - $20 profit. bounce

ETA - Looks like the $10 discount on the Shop at Home fee might vary by store.
I'm sure I'm being a little dense, but where do you enter the "CYBERMONDAY" code during the online shopping checkout?

I'm in Orange County, NY so not sure about NJ stores. Maybe play around with the website, start with the store closest to you and see if it takes off the $10?

Its almost at the very end. You put the items in your cart, hit Checkout, put in your billing address, select whether you want to pick up in store or have the stuff delivered to your house and then when you're on the final screen (Place Order), you can enter your promo code at the top of the screen.

LOOK OUT!!

while i was at PM doing the PM GC deal, i figured to take a peek down the beer aisle to see if there were any beer rebates. i've never had any luck finding these.. but i was lucky enough to find 2 different ones! one is for Buy $50+ in GIFT CARDS, get $10 back!!! (this one is ONLY valid in ME and NY) ... the second is not as good, but hey, free money is free money? .. lol it is from samuel adams, get $5 back for the holidays.. purchase of ham, turkey, cheese, or decorations. minimum purchase of $10+. i've attached a picture for a visual! good luck finding them. this is the first time i've ever found these infamous NBPR rebates!

Guess I screwed up on the B$150 Get $20 off. Was trying to get $150 in SR gift cards, and never got far enough to see anyplace to enter the code, so I thought it was over. It was telling me $150.99 was my balance, but there was no box to check for pick-up--just mailed free or two other options. Makes no sense, since I have seen people pick up their orders in that store. Never "shopped from home" before so probably did something wrong. Did you have to give a credit card or do you pay when you pick up (unless of course you have no option to pick up)? I don't want to put my CC# online.

What does NBPR stand for (re beer rebates)? My guess: No Beer Purchase Required?

Shoprite From Home promo code CYBERMONDAY to save $20 off a $150 order, valid Sunday and Monday only, 11/25 and 11/26.

Works on gift cards. Ordered a $100 and a $50 Shoprite gift card for $150 total, plus $10 shopping fee = $160. Code took off $20 for a $140 total, a $10 moneymaker.

That's $150 in Shoprite giftcards for $140 total. Pick them up at the store, then use them to shop for whatever else you need while you are there.
Thanks for this. I did this last night and set a pick up time of Saturday. I wonder if I will still get the discount since I am not picking up the same day. If anyone did the same, please let me know.

Only a $10 moneymaker, and I might not even get there - I have been away at school and am coming back this weekend, but I might not make my pick up time.
But it will be great to be shopping at SR and not trying to figure out Kroger.

Quote from frugalsuz View Post :
I wonder if the selection differs from store to store? I went to Shop, then Order Groceries Online, entered in my zip code, then selected "Click Here to Shop Online" under the store I wanted. There's a search box towards the top, I typed in gift cards and hit Go.

The $10 discount for $100 orders may be store specific as well. Another SD'er PM'd me saying it wasn't working for them. I'll go back and edit my post with this info.
I looked at two stores near my house in NJ and the selection was very different. And the one with the gift cards didn't offer the $10 off WYB $100, so it was only a $10 MM. I got 3 $50 SR cards.

Been trying to think of another deal on the Kraft. I have 4 Cracker Barrel $.75 off coupons and 4 $1 off coupons. I only have Mio $1 off coupons, and really don't want to get any unless they are practically free.

Trying to think of what combo with the Cracker barrel, cause we really like it I can do to get my OOP as low as possible.

So far only thing I can think of is 6 CB, using 4 $.75 and two $1 off coupons and the 3 Mio with $1 off coupons.

Any other suggestions would be great. I only have one of most insert coupons, since they have been so bad here in NJ I only order coupons here and there and stopped buying multiple papers.

I picked up my Cyber Monday GCs this morning - Shop From Home got the order wrong had (2) $25 Macy's Cards + (2) $25 Red Lobster cards, she tells me your total is $80. I'm like whaaat? I ordered (2) $50 Macy's Cards + $50 Red Lobster card = $150. The $20 CyberMonday code came off the $100 total!!! So put that in your memory banks for next year... I explained how the gift cards were limited for my area so she said if you want we can try switch out for a different GC. We searched for the Gulf gas cards but could not locate them, so I subbed a SR GC. Worked! And bonus - got fresh flowers as it was my 1st Shop From Home purchase.

Stopped @ CS and they said this qualifies for the $10 OYNO GC promo running this week as well = $30 profit! A big thanks to Dxy2JM and Suz!

Funny, but at the SR in Ramsey, they had a notice up on the cashier's bulletin board that said just the opposite--and I was standing there talking to the store manager. I said, "Oh, wow, I've always been wondering about mfg. cpns that say 'redeemable elsewhere'..." He thinks they're OK. But I'm sure like all other SR adventures, it depends on the time of day and the position of the moon.

And Chipilota--I would never leave the house again.

I've never ever had a problem until two weeks ago at a store I rarely go to but I think generally they are the best stocked in my area so I went there to get thanksgiving supplies. Although they didn't carry tropicana Healthy kids so still haven't found a store that carries everything. I had a lot of ip's and checking out was a total nightmare I won't rehash, but the fem rejected my baileys that said redeemable at Walmart bc he said they don't get reimbursed for them. Told him I'd never had a problem at the other 3 shoprites in our area and he said he didn't know why but they shouldn't be taking them either. I shop practically every wk and one store is especially microscopic on q's, they automatically call the fem over to check your ip's but still nothing like this store. Said I was accusing him of lying and they had the returns in the cash office. I should have said I want to see them. But I just wanted to get out of there. Then a few miles away realized there is no way I had xtra cracker barrel q's, she'd probably stuck them in the wrong pile yet again and had to turn around and do missed q's cuz they only do them same day.

I posted on Jill cataldo's Facebook page for clarification on whether they do get reimbursed or not and she never answered. I was very disappointed with her silence on the subject. This ymmv is extremely irritating as more and more q's say *redeem at* but not *only*.
