Best Buy [bestbuy.com] has Hauppauge WinTV-955Q Digital USB TV Tuner, compatible with the Xbox One, on clearance for $39.99. Shipping is free, or select free store pickup where available.

You can also order it from Amazon [amazon.com] - Dead, and it will ship once back in stock, which is expected March 17, 2016 as of the time of this posting.

This will allow you to watch over-the-air TV on your Xbox One including the ability to pause live TV. You can also stream live TV to Windows 10 device from your Xbox One. Microsoft has announced [polygon.com] it will get OTA DVR capabilities this year.

Amazon Link [amazon.com] - Make sure to select seller Amazon if it is not pre-selected. - Dead

This beats a popular front page deal which had the Xbox One branded version of this same tuner for $49.99. Note the official Xbox One branded tuner and this tuner are the same hardware, the 955Q was simply rebranded for the Xbox One. It is fully compatible and will operate the same way as the official Xbox One branded version of this tuner. In fact, the 955Q in this deal includes a "credit card remote", that you do not get with the Xbox One branded version. The only other difference is if you plan to use this with Windows, it comes with an older CD version of the WinTV software, instead of an activation code for the latest software downloadable online. The software is irrelevant if you plan to use this with your Xbox One.

What's Included
  • Hauppage PCTV HD Stick USB 2.0 TV Tuner with PVR (WinTV-955Q)
  • Credit card remote
  • A/V adapter cable, USB cable
  • Portable TV antenna
  • Software CD-ROM
  • Owner's manual

Hope this helps someone out!

1. Hauppauge does sell a ~$70 model in similar shape that has dual tuners with dual window and record. Great for watching one channel, recording another.
http://hauppauge.com/site/products/data_dualhd.html
2. older 950 has less sensitive tuner, but in, dual bay homemade clothes hanger antenna picks up all major los Angeles tv channels in 92683 including tough 7-13ch, 31.x.
3. On a pc or mac, allows you to tune into the 160+ channels broadcast free in LA, schedule recordings, and save 100% Broadcast identical copies of any show. Victoria Secrets, Oscars, Superbowl.... No restrictions. They play fine in VLC, convert to mp4 fine in handbrake.
Eg. Rather than buy dvd of Xfiles, just record each episode.
4. Subtitles and 2nd audio channels show and hear ok.
5. Allows you to get tv on laptop or tablet (with sufficient usb power thru port) anywhere. Moving car, no.
6. Time slip, too. Basic wintv is sufficient for most users.
7. Anything displayed on pc screen, including the tv in window from this, gets mirrored through vga or hdmi.
8. Screenshots fine.
9. Haven't watched tv on a tv in ages after getting the 950 years ago. Really nice being able to dvr oscars, etc.
10. Does run very warm.
11. Comes with tiny stick antenna. Works decent, but better needed to pickup tough to receive channels. Uses standard cable rf antenna connector. Pin in middle, screw on collar.
Does your TV offer DVR capability when the antenna is plugged straight in? Mine doesn't...
That's the thing. People want to pause live television. That's why they record it but I do that all the time so I can skip commercials or watch shows at my leisure. If you're going to watch live over the air television then telling someone they should get an antenna instead because you don't watch it live doesn't make sense.

Can you use this and the HDMI pass through? Watch TV currently brings me to my HTPC, how could I use both?

Amazon link seems dead. Couldn't find Amazon listed as the seller.

I've been thinking about picking this up for when DVR capabilities come to Xbox One, but I'm holding out in case they release a dual tuner since this can only handle one channel at a time.

Anything OTA is usually available on the network's website.CBS keeps the last 4-5 episodes of all of their tv shows. Fox has an app for ROKU, ABC does as well.
