They took 3 months to send the check when I bought on black friday. Though it might just be that all newegg rebates take that long.

It's a card with the activation keys on it. Download the exe via website and use the key to activate.

So far I've gotten them as checks in the past.

When I got it, it explicitly said "check" and I got a check for the rebate. It doesn't say "check" on this one but the rebate url (and amount) is the same so I would assume it is a check as well.

The $45 Rebate pdf footprint says, " Check issued in U.S. currency for U.S. residents. Checks are void if not cashed within 90 days. To check rebate status, log onto
kaspersky.rebateaccess.com or call 1-800-953-3098."

This is a Kaspersky manufacturer's rebate, not a Newegg rebate. Kaspersky rebates tend to get processed slightly faster than Newegg rebates, from my previous experience, even though they both use the same rebate processor.
