If you have a Meijer around you, there is also a $10 stackable mPerks coupon. So essentially is makes it around $5. $25-$10 mPerks(instant coupon)-$10 mail in rebate=$5 plus tax. I just did this yesterday. They also have oil filters on clearance.

Forgot to mention that at Meijer, it is for all oil weights. They have nice coupons on other oils as well. Also, all different oil filter brands are on clearance; just look for the orange tags. I believe the mPerks coupon is limit 1 while the mail in rebate has more of a quantity. I read some where it was two, but on the Meijer print out, it said up to $48 per household. If you are buying multiples, better do some more research. Good luck!

The one thing I hate about sales - sometimes you never know when they'll occur.

I guess I'm buying one for my next oil change

Horrid oil. Eats seals. Do your homework. You've been warned.

Just a curious Q...
Firestone always comes up with "$20 for synthetic blend oil" offer...
So is it worth to buy this Full Synth oil for $15 and then again pay someone to oil change? e.g. even FireStone won't charge me any less than $20 just for labor even if I give them my oil can.
So in that case it will be $35 min total. Is it worth (for a car like Camry or Sienna)?

Keep in mind that a synthetic blend I believe is only required to be a minimum of 15% synthetic I believe. So more like a regular oil change with a touch of synthetic.

For pricing comparison, 5 quarts of regular and 1 quart of synthetic for a ~17% ratio.

I just had my oil changed about 2 month ago, will this be fine if I leave it in a cool stored area until my next oil change?

Is it bad for your vehicle if you have been using Synthetic blend then switch to Full Synthetic ?

I've done my homework and this stuff is consistently called one of the best value synthetics out there.

No, but some say you can't go back to dino oil after having used synthetic. In 2012, Subaru went to synthetic for all engines. For 2011, dino or synthetic was OK with the caveat, "if you switch to synthetic, you can't go back to dino." Having oil change done at the dealer, with decent discount special, they record in the car's record that synthetic was at one time installed and no dealer will install dino in that engine again.
