Adding a reacuring 36 hour event to Outlook calander.

Cheddardips 35 22 March 10, 2016 at 07:31 AM
anyone know how to add a reacuring 36 hour appointment/event to Outlook calander?
I need to to something every 3 hrs for the next 6 weeks. I need to see it on a calander. doesn't really have to be outlook specific.

Is there a typo in your message here? I think you mean 36hrs instead of 3?

I just tried this in outlook 2016 and seems to work fine. For the field where I have 1.5 days I had to type that in.

I can confirm in Outlook 2003 even if you enter 1.5 in the "Every" box, Outlook trims the decimal and it winds up being 1 day

Maybe create two appointments?

Like:
Appointment #1 Monday at 1pm repeat every three days.
Appointment #2 Wednesday at 1am repeat every three days.
