New 4k TVs about to drop, who does Best Buy Price match guarantee with, outside of whos on their web page

AussieDad 250 30 March 14, 2016 at 01:06 PM More Best Buy Deals
Hi all,

Ive been waiting to snag a 4K 65" TV, been saving up and am now waiting to buy.

Ive seen the price match page on their web site but needed to know who else they will price match with.

Ive been looking at the Sony 810/850/900C, with the D models starting to ship next week so I hoping to screw them down on price, I was hoping for the 850/900 as it has HDR.

So who can I Price match them on and I have a 10% off coupon but the fine print says no "premium" TVs Sony Samsung etc, has anyone got them to take that in the past also?

Hope some of SD'ers out there can help me
Cheers

Darren

The 10% off coupon won't work on those Sony TVs. I tried when I got the 850c and didnt work.

of those listed the only one you should want is the 850c imho. 810 does not have HDR. The 900s have (from many many reviews) awful bottom light bleed. The 900 is gorgeous most of the time but the dark scenes the bleed is quite bad. Not sure if this affect most tvs in the range or just a large amount of panels. But look at reviews...they are prominently negative because of the bleed.

I was torn between the 2015 850c and the 2016 850D. The 850Ds do not look like there is significantly new tech int he tvs, so grab a 2015 850c wwen/ where you can when the price is right for you

yes the HDR is what I was looking at , I'm hoping that with the new year models coming they will drop the price of the 850 down to 1600 the reviews at rting are subjective of course but the edge bleed is a worry and why the 900 wasn't really on my radar, the 3D is meh but yeah the HDR is why for 400 more is worth it over the long runThen get a Square deal in case it shits he bed in 12 months

the 850c was $1600 on Ebay via buydig a few days ago. I'd rather get it from BB or Amazon so if there is a build issue you can take care of it easier.

Sounds like they havent added anything new, HDR is native but you now get that with the software update to the C model

Im off to BB on Friday to screw down a deal on the 850C as Im not spending another $1000 on the D
