I've only ever seen lower prices for the P2415Q in new condition as a "net after Dell gift card".

If you don't want to mess with promo gift cards that expire, camel-times-three alerted me that Amazon dropped their prices, now lower than previous slickdeals.

The 24" is $25 lower than this weekend, and the first time below $400 at Amazon.

The 27" version is not at its lowest price, but still good after dropping $35.

If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

4k displays at 120 Hz don't exist, and 4k @ 60 Hz is the max for both DisplayPort 1.2a and HDMI 2.0.

DisplayPort 1.4, which supports 4k @ 120Hz, was just released, but you probably won't see it in actual displays for another year. And those displays will be nowhere near a $300–400 price point.

I bought a (few) Crossover 289K at $270 and while it's not IPS, I'm pretty happy with it. Bought a new video card but got 4k @ 60 Hz with it without any issue (using cables included in the box, etc).

The lowest in Amazon is $450 at the end of last year. But I just checked B&H. They have it at the same price as Amazon.com. They only charge tax in NY.

How are these puppies. 9ms response time but IPS. In what context does the response time make a difference?

The 27" 4K is fantastic. For those with a Mac that can drive it, a "poor man's" version of a retina desktop Mac. I got this instead of shelling out thousands for a 5K iMac. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

I use the 24" at work and when it's at full res it's absolutely stunning... sad part is my Mac is old so it isn't strong enough to support it without some lag, which is a bummer.

sooooo tempting, but i think i'd prefer/wait for a 4k IPS 27" with 120 Hz for $300-400. i really hate to post/read stuff like, "I'll wait", but there's really no standard in terms of screens/TVs right now. there is OLED/IPS/TN, 4k/1440p/1080p, 60Hz/120Hz/144Hz, and freesync/gsync and not to mention all the connectivity (DP, hdmi, etc). i'd hate to buy something that is "obsolete".

I use my P2715Q for graphic design and gaming. No issues. Dell's warranty is top notch. I had a few (2) pixels that were dead on the very top-left of my screen and they replaced it instantly.

I have a 290x and the same monitor. Some games need to have AA off and lowered to High-Ultra instead of Ultra but it does run most games.

A second card is needed if (and perhaps more VRAM) if someone wants to run everything on ultra. A 980ti/Titan X is the only single GPU solution that can come close.

Have to wait for Pascal, Polaris for a true single card solution for 4K.

you would need hawk eyes to look at text on a 24" 4k screen.. Will wait for 27" to come along..
