Like I said, it can probably be argued both ways. I have a grocery store that doubles coupons, for a day or 2 more anyway. They double all coupons, even those that say do not double, so is this any different since it's WM's policy to allow overage? I really don't know. I'm just looking at our side, the store's side and the manufacturer's side. Will the mfg know how much the product was? Will WM be reimbursed full value? If WM will be reimbursed full value then my guess is we will receive full value. If the mfg is only going to give WM face value then who knows? Can you imagine WM adding that to the official policy? We'll allow overage on most everything, unless there's small writing on the coupon that says no cash allowed? Heck, the stores can't get a grasp for the policy as it is.

My understanding is that WM is giving overage because.... it cost too much money to deal with coupons that have been ajusted down..what the coupon scans for is the amount of money that WM will be remburst..(they use clearing houses a human really dosent look at the coupon unless there is a problem with it ) if this coupon scans for $6.00 off 2 then that is what u will get regaurdless of the fine print |

My first price match experience at Walmart. I took the Big Lots ad for Operation games and the CS rep told me it would be more than half off their current price so they won't price match it !!! Did anybody else have the same experience ? This was in the Commerce WalMart in SE MI.

It stinks of BS. Next time go you, be prepared with a print-out of their Price Matching policy. Or pull it up on your phone.ETA - I also had my first PM experience this week with the Big Lots ad. It seems like they either haven't been trained or very few people have done it at my store 'cause they all looked very, very confused as to why I could possibly get away with saving so much money. With this experience, all I can say is that their marketing team struck gold. WM looks oh-so-very-patriotic in these hard economic times but the reality is that we still get treated like thieves when we try to use their own promotion. /rant Last edited by comp199; 09-21-2011 at 09:36 AM.. |

Nice deal on the Schick disposables! Just went in and got 24 razors and a Mt. Dew. The cashier even gave me the extra .15 (YMMV).
Just wondering. Was going to stop by the other location and try this again with coupons from my other computer. Could I use 2 of these 6/2Q on 4 Schick bags? (for a total of 4$ overage?) New to couponing so let me know if something like this is possible. |
I spent 20+ minutes today trying to get these; and the coupon would not scan. Was told by CSM that "if it doesn't scan we can't take it". I don't normally do WM (for the reason I just mentioned)...so what does eveyone do when you get a beeper? Ended up leaving the whole order and walking out... |

The Q is coded 41058, but if the razors have the other code (46500, I think, though I may have it wrong off the top of my head), the q would certainly cause a "print journal" error. Reps are back...for now.
I owe loads of gratitude to everyone that got me where I am! Read the *NEW* CVS FAQ and post your questions there. Let's keep the deal threads deal-related, please.Would it kill you to read the wiki? Or to read the thread? All the experts got to where they are by reading...you can too. |
