Sorry to change the direction of the discussion but does anyone know if the $7 Nature Made coupon provides overage at WM. The coupon says "Up to $7." I'm trying to figure out whether or not to use it for overage.

It's the one they mail to you for 500 points in their reward program. The wording says "Up to $7 off any Nature Made item" and the short barcode is 5 31604 00068 9. According to a quick Google search, it should autoscan for $7 but it also has the GS1 barcode and I have no idea what that's coded for.

If the redemption info says 'up to $7.00' then you should get 'up to' the item cost up to $7. If it says face value you should get $7. With Walmart you never know.

Rr are mq..with the wording redeemable only at walgreens, thus, even if your Walmart al take them, it goes against the wording on the mq. Going against the wording on a mq will not be discussed on SD.
The only exception is a few.rr that last time did not have the word "only".....usually p&g...we will have to wait and see if they left em that way next time there is a big p&g promo

This "rule" continues to make no sense to me and in my opinion is a double standard to your "rule" regarding store coupons.

If it is up to a store to police how their store coupons are used, then it is also up to the same store to decide whether they will accept a MQ with "redeemable only at" in the verbiage.

Some stores gladly accept competitor coupons, and I fail to see anything wrong with an individual store using their discretion if they want to accept a competitor/manufacturer coupon.

there has to be a line somewhere, this is where the line is drawn at SD.


I also do not understand why I cannot use my cell phone held to my ear while I drive, but I can use it on speaker phone. but it is the law/rule and I adhere to it.

FWIW, and apparently, that isn't much at SD, I agree with you, Tipper. If a store takes something, then I think it should be ok. Walmart's official policy is no, but Target's apparently isn't, but no one can speak about it....on the site where people are supposed to "share information". Doesn't make much sense. Feel free to talk about using a $5 RA q for Crest Whitestrips on Charmin all you want, though.

i've never tried price matching the price after rr, but i think that the person's question wasn't 100% clear anyway, because it could have been interpreted as "pay $3.99, get a $3 rr", and that WE think that we should therefore pay only 99 cents. He should have instead mentioned that the AD states a final price of 99 cents.

I don't think that walmart intended to price match the 99 cents price anyway when they came up with that policy. And i bet that if you email corporate again, chances are that you will get a different response from one cs rep to another... But I personally don't care to price match the after rr price, until it is clear in black and white.

Pm'ing Depends sale at wags at .99, since my store pm's after RR. Using $2/1 ip.
