Just wanted to say...went to a small party with friends. Had a Yankee swap and one of the items was those Italian cakes in a red box. They had bought it that week. Well before we opened looked on the outside for an expiration date. NONE. So opened it and it stunk. Found a small ex date of 6/12. Barely found it as it was small and white ink on clear plastic. I know most here wouldnt buy that but just and FYI.
I want to thank evertyone on the Shaw's chat thread that donated part of their stash and sent me coupons to help support DSIL unit. Also want to thank the people on SD...one as far as Texas that sent me coupons to help support the cause

no axe here and I have 16 mqs
did manage to find 4 coty and 2 dana (ring up 50%) and put $15 "O" on the gc  and paid 70 cents oop for tax. Some x-mas stuffs are tag 75% (wrapping papers, gift tags, etc).
I lost my Dad to lung cancer January 3, 2011. I miss you Dad |

We have one with the same issue. the clearence aisle has been the same for at least 3yrs...they don't mark stuff down..just add stuff! One mgr told me last summer they were getting a $8K grant from corp and were going to mark this stuff down the next day...I went twice a day for 6 days & nothing changed. She told me that the 'cost of these aisles' were worth more then the clearence...yet they didn't mark it down. My cousin however at a different WM..found the .25/.50/$1 aisle for over 2 weeks and she said the same...every day they added more...and at the end..it was GONE! Also..I was talking to a guy remarking some toys.. I thought he was marking them down from $2... but NO..he was marking them back up to $4! When I questioned..he real innocently said 'that's an old sale price...see Oct 12..so it's time to mark it up'.. He was serious... I just laughed! |
