Let's try to stay focused on any great deals to be had when you combine a coupon with a regular-priced item. YYMV on the actual prices at Wal-Mart but they should be fairly close. If your store has an item with a very different regular price, please put it in the Wiki so we can compare the price variations to see if this is even worth it. We may as well not even post clearanced items because that is definitley going to be widely different per store.


There is no weekly ad to work with so we're going to have to add things from what we see when we are there. So please keep an eye out when you're at Wal-Mart next for any hot deals.

I don't know if anyone else caught this, but it says available at "Rise Aid" stores and Majer. Obviously the first one is a typo. Unsure about the second one? Hilarious...Rise Aid. That's another topic entirely...OMGEEK!Embarrassment

I had another bad day y'day trying to get the Coty fragrance. The Managers do not know their policy and don't care to look it up and be very rude. There were like 5 women surrounding the counter with reason not to take the Q at first, then not to allow overage. They kept telling that that " we do not give cash back". They Jawdrop ed when I showed their policy, but would not accept it and one of them claimed it that "it could be printed off from anywhere" Blowup

I insisted AM to look up their policy right away and prove me wrong, she's was afraid and didn't want to do that........ she just ignored everything and said they are not allowing me get the overage. Called over Co- Manager and he was the same person who was very rude couple of months back and wouldn't accept coupons on PM items. I know right away what would happen( which happened eventually) and said that I'm going take it up to people who actually come up with a explanation and reason for all this.

Needless to say left all my items. I got grocery items and still was paying $5.xx OOP. I always keep my cool, but I was very upset and clearly and firmly stated that to both the Managers! Got their name, store number and the register I was checking out.

The cashier in CS desk and the CS manager(?) was both shocked by the behavior of the Managers and they seemed like they don't care/respect them. They have asked me to call another Manger who will be at store during weekdays! I will be calling the store today. How do I get the District Manager's phone number? I couldn't find in the restroom as suggested in the past and the CS desk don't have a clue!

Did you know you can call Walmart's home office (and even have a real live person answer the phone) and have their "Immediate Response" team take care of you right then and there. (During normal business hours of 8am-5pm central) They will contact the store and get everything taken care of. Whether it's them not writing rainchecks, not accepting valid coupons, horrible customer service, not accepting printed coupons, not honoring their own coupon policy, etc. They really make stores stand up and take notice. This is NOT tied in with the 1-800 customer service number. It goes directly to the home base of Walmart. The number isn't really published anywhere... (Gee I wonder why ) Anyway, put it in your cell phone and if you ever have any problems give them a call. Sometimes even just the mention of calling "Bentonville" is enough to get them to straighten up.

Thanks, I'm giving them a call now for never getting called back by the store manager or District manager I left messages for and even placed a complaint by calling the 1-800 number. So I got this live person at first but when I said I was a customer she transferred me somewhere and the wait is going to more then 5min. It's nap time for DS17mo so it's okay but is that the right thing or did I get moved over to the regular 1-800 wait line laugh out loud?
eta: it is definitely much faster! I got a call from someone in the District Market office but she thinks the peelies must be used on the item taken from. Not sure I will get anywhere w/ this one Sadwalk but at least I also explained how bad the shopping experience was and gave names. Hopefully, they will be nice/professional in the future.

Saw the displayer of fragrances. No peelies. not even a marking that there was ever any. Found 1 and of course it was in a fragrance locked up in a box.
I did find the travel sized norelco razor for $12.97. Used the $10/1 q on target's site & went through beeplessly Smilie

I called earlier when I saw your post, but wait time was longer and I have sick DD @ home. So hung up and as soon as I put out DD to nap, I called the number!!! I got the line with in 2 min wait and lady who talked me listened to me 2 mins and then repeated like parrot/broken player that "I apologize for your inconvenience, but it IS actually up to store Manager to decide what to do"....after couple things I question she finished the conversation by thanking me for calling them. MadMadMad

I didn't bother/didn't have chance to give all detail...I was giving her the outline how bad their team is, how they treat the customer/situation and thinks ONLY their time is valuable just because they are ManagersInsane

I think our only way out this to get Managers who can accept their own policy and understand that they will be getting 8 cents more per coupon than paid with cash.

I called my store in AM asking for the other Manager, but haven't got a call back yet!

Actually, the only TRUE way out of this is to stop shopping there altogether. But that's never gonna happen, right? Given the fact that I live in BFE, there are times I have to bite the bullet and shop there.

I don't like it ... but I do it.
