If you want to discuss the pros/cons of shopping at Wal-Mart do that here.

Let's try to stay focused on any great deals to be had when you combine a coupon with a regular-priced item. YYMV on the actual prices at Wal-Mart but they should be fairly close. If your store has an item with a very different regular price, please put it in the Wiki so we can compare the price variations to see if this is even worth it. We may as well not even post clearanced items because that is definitley going to be widely different per store.

There is no weekly ad to work with so we're going to have to add things from what we see when we are there. So please keep an eye out when you're at Wal-Mart next for any hot deals.

It says in coupon policy that 'system will prompt for supervisor for 4 or more like coupons per transaction' Will this happen?? I think the last time I used more than 4 was for Breathe Right Strips....TIA

I used more than 4 like coupons last night and never see the prompt for csm. Only prompt when total coupons amount is over $50. I usually will keep my transaction with total coupons under $50 to avoid the hassle and holding up the line.

BOLO for a freestanding Olay Regenerist stand up deal. One each package were peelies for $5 off 2 Olay Regenerist, one item must be a moisturizer. I've only seen this so far at Walmart.

I couldn't find the Wilton Limited Edition Flavor Marshmallow Candy Melts when the Easter clearance was going on, but today there they were on a new end cap with the regular flavors. Not marked clearance & ringing up for .10 cents. In Western PA

Awesome! I'll have to look again at my other store. I got 4 packs for .25 each after easter.
I was really excited to try them but haven't yet.

When did official restriction on PMing private label go into effect?

Yesterday, used a Winco Grand Opening (GO for 100th store in Lewisville, TX (Yeah how can Lewisville get by with only 99 Wincos, but I digress) that expired yesterday and had no trouble matching watermelon, Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce and Lay's Potato Chips, but wanted to use Shasta 12-pk can sale price of 0.98 to PM on GV 12-pack cans.

Store told me (and this had come from Store Manager down to CSMs) that they wouldn't match another brand. I said in past they had matched WM's house brand to another store's house brand, such as on milk. They said they shouldn't have done this. I was fairly sure that it was allowed in the policy, but got proiven wrong when I checked at home that private label prices are explicitly excluded from PM.

We do not match the price in the following types of competitor ads:

Items that require a separate purchase to get the ad price
example: "Buy [item A] to get [item B] for $C"
Items with no actual price that require a purchase to get free product
example: "Buy both [items A & B] to get [item C] for free"
Items that require a purchase to get a competitors' gift card
example: "Buy [item A] to get a $B gift card
Buy one, get one free (BOGO) ads with no actual price given
Going out of business or closeout prices
Percentage off
example: "All mascara, 40% off"
Competitors' private label price promotions
A specific price that omits a specific characteristic of an item (Example: $9.50 on "all sizes or quantities" of an assortment)

Yes, as noted, I saw it said this once I got home. I was fairly certain it had allowed that previously, but I have checked the internet archive and going back to Aug 21, 2012, it is also in there, so regrettably, I was wrong.

They have, however, done it numerous times for me on milk, at least. (another store usually/always)
