Gigabyte Radeon R9 390 GAMING [jet.com]

Just Purchased this.

Total was $249.38 using SHOP15 Coupon

Total Items: 1
Price Subtotal: $299.99
Savings: -$6.60
Promo Offer: -$44.01
Shipping Fee: FREE
Estimated Taxes: $0.00
Order Total: $249.38

Total Charge $249.38

No Tax in California. Waived free returns for 6.60 off. You can get this as low as $245.64 if you pay with your debit card.

People who have previously purchased from Jet have been able to use this coupon by making a new account.

Most of the bad reviews were for a driver issue that caused the card shutdown problems. This has been corrected in the newer drivers. This is also 9" which is small for the r9 390 for those with tight cases.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Will it work with my computer / power supply?
  • Does your 16x PCIe slot have at least 9.25 inches of clearance?
  • Is the expansion slot next to your 16x PCIe slot empty?
  • Do you have a 550W or higher power supply?*

If you answered yes to all these questions, it should probably work.**

If your power supply does not have a PCIe 8-pin connector you'll need to get a 6-pin to 8-pin converter, or a molex to PCIe 8-pin converter.

*It may still work if your power supply is rated for lower wattage, but it needs to be a quality power supply from companies like Corsair, EVGA, XFX. Antec, FSP, Seasonic. If your power supply has less than 4 stars on NewEgg, then forget about it. You should not go any lower than a 430W power supply. **

**YMMV

Why haven't you posted the deal then?
First experience shopping with jet resulted in me filing a fraud dispute and 25 calendar days to receive a refund. Worst customer service ever.

I hear you. I don't "need" a new gpu but want one... This really seems like a great deal and if you eventually xfire it down the line it will last a long time.

If I was in the market for a 390, this would've been an awesome deal.
when Polaris comes in and you're trying to resell this, most likely you'll only lose about ~$50 since you're already at this low of a price point.
It boils down to: can I wait a couple more months? or be satisfied now and lose a couple bucks.

I was in the same boat. Had been shopping a 970 gtx and bought but cancelled the order.

Decided to go for this as from what I'm reading even when the new cards come out, it will only be the higher end ones. Will be 6 months for the others.

By then I can get another of these and x fire when they are discounted further. (thinking it might only be discounted to the 200$ level, 50$ difference.) I can get good use out of this for 6-8 months while seeing what happens with the new line and discounting of the old until then.
