Best Buy is selling the ZTE Zmax 2 4G with 16gb storage and 2GB memory for $79.99 with free shipping. This is about $20 less than Amazon.

1.2ghz quad core processor
2 GB Ram
5.5" Screen (just 720p, but still pretty good for $80)

I bought this phone a few weeks ago when on sale at Best Buy. I have been using it as my daily driver for a few weeks.

For the price, you get way more than what you are probably expecting. You can move a lot of apps to the SD card which is nice. It has Android 5.1 and probably will not get Marshmallow for those that are wondering.

I was using my iPhone 6s as my daily driver until I bought this phone. The screen is way way way nicer than the specs lead you to believe. There are very few YouTube videos on this phone but I will say, the YouTube reviews do not do this phone enough justice.

The only downside of the phone is the camera, it is no where near the quality of my iPhone 6s and I did not expect it to be but it will do fine in perfect lighting and if the subjects are in a relatively close range. If you are shooting landscape images with this camera, the edges are blurry and the detail is not great in the image overall compared to higher end phones.

I bought it 1) to re-introduce myself to the Android ecosystem 2) to have a larger screen to consume media 3) to use as a secondary phone on Freedom Pop for free (Global GSM Plan $0)

You CAN unlock the phone and use it on most if not all GSM carriers. (check the bands)

REMOVE THE SIM CARD BEFORE POWERING ON or the phone will be locked to the ATT network.

Go to the AT&T website and request unlocking. It will take a few days.

As long as you do not have the SIM CARD installed you can use it as a wi-fi device while waiting for your AT&T unlock code.

There are plenty of forums on SD that have unlock instructions if you need step-by-step instructions

Good price, I bought one from best buy when they were on sale for $70 last month and I have been very pleased with the performance and build quality. I switched when my Alcatel Onetouch Idol 3 broke and while the screen and camera are not as good as the Idol 3, the performance is actually noticeably faster. For $80 it would be hard to do any better.

You can use Es File Explorer to facilitate Hotspot functionality.

Thanks. I bought this last week at $100 because I really needed something that day. Just went to BB and got it priced adjusted. You saved me $20 OP!

bought one more with the bb e-gift card bough a few days ago from ebay.

Though there are cheaper phones, but all of them only have 8 GB storage, which made the device barely usable. This one has 16GB and a sd slot, good for most people.

The back cover is plastic, yet the bumps make it less slippery, so not that bad a trade-off.

Price is up by $10, but no better alternative at $80.

Will buy again if it is down to $70.

besides the not-very-sensitive-touch issue, the phone is almost perfect to me.
