Trolled many of these Staples GC threads in the past and seen many a member ask the best use for these GCs and unfortunately have seen many a vitriolic or at a minimum sarcastic reply that people should read through old threads. Having not shopped at Staples for the last few years (not since the good old days...) I cannot come up with a good use from recent experience. So, I'll take my stab at it: What would you use the GC for? Beyond office supplies of course... They don't seem to be all the competitive on PC parts and accessories any longer. Etc.

Isn't buy another GC with a Staples GC dead?

What are the uninformed missing?

You're going to get tons of red for posting a hot deal that isn't working for the foreseeable future.

Resale of items, plain and simple. Don't complain if people don't share with you what they're reselling - likely they've done a lot of work to find items that will sell for prices that turn a profit, and if the world finds out the resell market will become flooded.

Here's an oldie but goodie - the Apple Pencil was hard as hell to find for a while, and sold for $130+ on Ebay. Some Staples stores stocked Apple Pencils. If I can buy $100 of Staples GC's for $85 then turn around and sell that product for $130+, I've made a tidy profit. Nevermind that I'm probably earning 5% back in Rewards from Staples and 5% back in UR from buying the GCs.

Easy to see how one could make money, eh?

No, you can't buy GC's with GC's.
Buy paper and donate it. There is $.01 AC/AR reams and $1 AC/AR half cases.

If you don't want office supplies, you probably shouldn't be getting GC's to an office supply store. laugh out loud

An alternative is finding something you want at Staples, price matching it to somewhere cheaper (amazon, WM, etc.) then using the GC's for that extra 15% off.

If you have Discover Cash Back rewards to spend, you can still get $25 Staples gift cards for $20 with a limit of 5 per transaction.

No. This is almost always the case before they offer this promo. They say select/ preapproved buyers only but there are none. When this goes live, it will be open to everyone. Some times it goes live in minutes/ hours other times days or not at all.
