Home Depot carries the Kuna Smart Security Light [homedepot.com], its called the Maximus Smart Security Light, but it is the same exact light and uses the same Kuna app. Home Depot is offering 25% off all outdoor lights with the code OUTDOORLIGHT25. Which is a discount of $49.75 off the regular price of $199 and brings it to a total of $149.25.

just FYI - Amazon reviewer warned - beware of hidden costs!!,KUNA wants $8 a month,
$8 a month is only if you pay monthly for ONE device. if you prepay for a year, it comes down to $5 a month for ONE device. all plan options listed here [getkuna.com]

No warning needed....it's optional. You can pay $0 a month. The monthly plan is not a requirement

Thanks got one. And I used CardCash to order a $135 GC for $127 also ($8 savings). This unit looks elegant. Was planning to install a foscam camera but then I had to go find a nice looking enclosure and then have to drill holes to get a power line for it. With this, I just replace the existing front light outside.

I'm assuming these need a neutral wire?

Got one of these as a gift. the detection and recording work well, but the Android app is pretty buggy.

Been getting a lot of blank video on the live view (but still have audio), the uploaded recordings are fine.

Few emails back and forth with their tech support says is because of latency and packet loss and interference from my wifi router to the Kuna. Also they said a lot of interference with my neighbors WiFi channels causing it (changed to other channels seemed to help some).

So does it require a neutral wire? Or just a ground wire is ok?
