Unless they change it this year it is as you have described. I talked to a FL worker I am friendly with and he said that they are keeping to the schedule as usual. Though I did notice that you are missing the June super sale they had last year in my 'neck of the woods'. NC
Yes, thank you (and I repped). That is what I was wondering. I felt like there was a mid-year Super Sale some time between January and Sept/Oct, and I was kind of thinking it was around June (end of school). But I didn't keep track of the dates until now. We're in NC too.

This is a relief - much easier to stock up on 4-5 months of non-perishable staples than it is 9 months.

I agree. And that way you can rotate what you have left so you don't let things expire (which I have done in the past lol)
Also I noticed in my area 'clearance shelves' at the back of the store, Lipton White Tea Pomegranite Large T Bags 1.99 . The tea is great, has a bit of a sweet taste with Stevia in it(great for Diabetics or low carbers) And lots of baby stuff, which won't expire for months. So it is worth checking out in our stores.

Expire? What is this expire, you speak of? laugh out loud I just take those dates as suggestions, as long as the cans aren't swelling or rusting, or taste funny, I got no problem eating it.
I've gotten several cases of $0.25 beans and mac & cheese. I've been trying to build my food stockpile like those nuts people on Doomsday Preppers.

LOL... Just be cautious of acid foods like Tomatoes and stick to those dates or close to them. It has to do with the metal of the cans and the acid reaction. Jelly is one of the best 'keepers' after the date. I don't eat a lot of pasta but it keeps well too. And think about this Nutters or Preppers..when the ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE hits..they will be your best friend lol

I wasn't exactly putting down preppers & you're right they will be your best friend. I'm actually kinda getting into the idea of prepping (just not to the extent of the people on the show). I started with guns & ammo stockpiles first (so the zombies better watch out), now I'm working on building up my food stores.

With the present state of 'gun' control that is a good idea. I had a great stockpile until I got really sick 7 months ago. Used up a lot so now I am back on it. Canned meat has the longest shelf life. I prefer tomatoes in glass so spaghetti sauce is a great storage item, because it is hard to find t's in jars and I don't can stuff lol. I think it is smart to have at least 3-6 months of food in your home. And never EVER forget the TP! Big Grin

FL already watches you, as you have to have a loyalty card just to check out.

I know and that is why if I don't have MVP stuff I don't use it lol. And Coupons.com is on your PC etc. I don't like the fact because each time I run CCleaner it removes it

You have your cards registered in your real name?
FL can track my cards all they want, there's no name or address associated with them. Ninja In fact, I got a whole stack of new cards that aren't registered.
