It depends on how much you like money.

It has high random reads, which is what you should really care about for day-to-day performance. Spending $30 more for some extra green bars on a website seems like a silly thing to do. This is my go-to budget drive, because it has just enough performance to be considered acceptable, and it's almost always reasonably priced.

UserBenchmark is real-world data, but it's still benching, and benchmarks are always going to show a greater difference than actual perception.
This free cloning software works great. http://clonezilla.org
The mods should start an over/under on how many posts there will be in a non-Samsung SSD thread before someone says "get the Evo"...and maybe a separate o/u for how long before 5thElement does so. Big Grin

Did a quick Google Shopping search of the same model ssd. Newegg, B&H, and Adorama Camera have this drive for $74.99.

Edit: that's price is for 240GB

What would be recommended for my macbook pro? I've been eyeing the Samsung 850 EVO, but this is a pretty good price.

If you have a Western Digital drive attached to your system, you can use a free copy of Acronis True Image downloadable from the WD web site [wdc.com]. Seagate has a similar product but I don't know if they updated it to support Win10 yet.
Or you can use Macrium Reflect [macrium.com].

I will give a TU because of the testing variability with userbenchmark (that's real world though, isn't it?) and $30 price drop... but this drive really has some pertinent negatives.

Tempting... wonder if I can get Amazon to price match to save on the tax side of things.
