I just went to store near by my house, they have the camera for $550. May be not the same price in all stores.

there seems to be a bunch per brick seeker and the tracker posted. I just don't know I would get enough use out of it.

I could be wrong but It seems like a good price for a new one. It seems to be less than anything else posted except for a grey market.

This is a good price. If you haven't used a DSLR before you should know that you probably won't get any good pictures with this setup. You'll need a better lens and quite a bit of practice. Unless learning a fair bit about photography interests you, you'd be better off buying a quality point and shoot.

Agreed. People should never waste their money of cheap kits with terrible optics and simply shooting on automatic. Get a dslr body, a 35mm 1.8f prime and embrace the wonderful world of photography. It is one of the most rewarding hobbies ever. You capture moments in their true beauty that will live on... Because you only get that one chance to capture those moments... ? Smilie

Great deal for someone that is starting out with their first dslr. For someone that has ANY kind of dslr, I wouldn't go for this unless you already have a bunch of nikon lenses, or your current dslr just got ran over and money is tight. Otherwise, this thing is a couple years old and it's replacements are much better. Still a solid deal from one of the last B&M places that actually sell a DSLR.
