Alerts for deals that hit 100+ 200+ 300+ thumbs up etc.

It would be great if I could set up an alert for when deals on specific forums hit specific benchmarks in thumbs ups. Such as when a post gets 100 or 300 thumbs up. For example, I might not always be interested in every deal that Starbucks has to offer, but if they have the Groupon deal where they have a $10 gift card for $5 and as soon as 100 people agree that it is a good deal, I would like to know about it.

Thank you.

you probably would miss a lot of deals waiting for it to get to +100 but you can customize your deal alerts by forum/tu. when setting a new alert you need to choose "more options" next to the orange button to see them. you can also access them on existing alerts via the "edit" button.

I made a thread about this around 3 years ago and even to this day, I'd like to see this implemented. As I don't want to see every deal out there (just the most popular ones), an alert like this would be perfect for that purpose.

By the time something got to +100 it's usually over. Perhaps a lower number might be a better idea but honestly thumbs do not always reflect how good a deal is.

There are many -20 (minus, thumbed down) or less topics that contain fantastic deals. You wouldn't get notified for those.

I have nothing against SD puting thumbs as a deal filter but it's really a crap way to see the worthiness of a deal. You are missing out on so much if that is all you're looking for.

it already exists, as described in my post right before yours (that's the the "rating" item is for) Smilie. sounds like i was not clear enough though; i (or someone else) can try again if you are having trouble finding it.
