This is my first post so be easy on me Smilie

Here's the link:

I figured I'd post this because I bought 2 of these for our company and they are great. I see that someone had posted the deal awhile back for $199 (too bad I missed that). Here's the deal. You pay $219.46 (that includes tax) and they ship it to you free. It comes with
-Monitor (I was afraid it wouldn't but it did and is very nice)
-all necessary cables.
- Does not come with speakers

The condition says refurbished and the two towers that I got were in excellent condition with just a few scuff marks, and the rest of the stuff was new in my mind.
I know this isn't an amazing computer, but for a college kid or someone starting out, I'd say it would be hard to beat since it comes with a 21.5" monitor. I've tested both of ours out and they run smooth especially for not having SSD and only 4GB of ram. As a heads up the thing that attracted me to this deal is that the new version of this model at walmart costs $399.00 and has a 4 out of 5 star rating... and it has tax on top of that lol.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I agree generally a good deal with a monitor that sized. but that pentium j series quad core is beyond budget. that will not stay fast down the road

The lowest entry-level machine one can get. Retail new is $399 so $220 is a little over half price- good deal there.
Keep in mind it has limited expandability: 4gb up to 8 gb max, 1 PCIe slot. Small PS -250w or 300w I think. It is quad core tho, and low-power, and it does come with a monitor-a plus (no speakers tho).
Not much in this machine to make it future proof….But, if your needs are minimal (web crawling, Word, Excel, powerpoint, gmail), would be extremely hard to beat. I’d do some comparison to refirbed i3 4th or fifth gen boxes for pricing. If you find something close, I’d get the i3

Can someone tell me if this will accomodate sending signal to dual screens? Thinking of getting for a classroom... Can the DVI and VGA outputs be used simultaneously?
