Does porting automatically cancel Centurylink phone and DSL without notice?

I ported my landline number to Tmobile. Will I automatically lose both Centurylink phone & DSL internet (same account; same bill) at the same time without any sort of notice? Wondered that do I have to call centurylink to cancel DSL after ported out? (My DSL was automatic disconnected on the same day of ported in to Tmobile)

I was switching to Charter cable.

Thanks

It was probably canceled, but since you've ported out already, just give them a call or chat with them online to clarify. If you were under contract on your DSL the might be a fee they charge you on your final bill.

The main key is to avoid contacting them until you successfully port your number out.

Typically that's the case. As soon as there is no number associated with the account, it's auto-canceled/closed. That's happened with me with AT&T and Verizon.

Centurylink is the worst one in the world for services cancellation.
They dragged me around for two hours on the phone with a reason can not cancel because order is still pending (such a lie !!!!). And finally gave me cancellation"s confirmation number, which I am not sure valid or not. Time will tell

4+repped to both!
Thanks
