Walmart is taking $100 off the price of all iPhones through June 2016.

Update: I went to my local Walmart to check this out. The staff did not know anything about this deal, even though there was a sign with the details right by the iPhones. No 'forced contract' or other nonsense, $50 off instantly and another $50 bill credit in 2-3 billing cycles. In my store only the Verizon section had this sign. Nothing by the AT&T phones.

Update 2: Photo of store display added.

The TD's could be because of the lack of information. There's no mention of how you will get bill credits. For instance, is it a fake-contract where you only get X amount credited every month for 30 months or do they just give you the full $100/$150 back on your next bill?

Hey guys
Came across this article on CNN.com and this is the first I hear of it. Walmart will be rolling back Iphone and Samsung phones prices on all devices by 100.00 for Iphone and 150 forSamsung phones.

Not sure about the details but based on the article this will be instore only and Tmobile will be excluded. Also it looks like they will work with the carriers to provide the discount so not sure what form this discount will take. Also discount will be available until the end of June.

If anyone knows more about this please post thought this was good deal especially on the new iphone SE.

I respect your opinion, but the iPhone SE is a great idea. I purchased my iPhone SE on launch day and moved from my old 5S over to the 64GB SE and so far I freaking LOVE my new iPhone. There are always going to be Apple haters out there and I understand their reasoning, but I can't find a phone that's this powerful in this size that has the ability to shoot 4K videos and have all of the other tech that's inside the phone. I can use all of the same hardware I have for my 5S on my new SE including my Lifeproof case that's on it right now. It's a fantastic device if you're like me and don't want a honking huge phone that puts a huge bulge in your pants pocket but still has state of the art technology inside of it.

I traded in two iPhone 5 devices to Brightstar when they introduced the trade-in program, and I ended up paying $140 for my phone out the door, and those two phones I just dug out of a drawer because they hadn't been used in months and were worth $200 each to trade in.

I'm not even an iPhone user, but I have to admit the SE is actually surprisingly good. Welcome back to having a nifty device that actually fits in your hand. Best part? My thumb can reach all parts of the screen.

Yes, the display is a little small, but everyone thought that was still awesome when the iphone4 came out, right?

No need to be snarky nevergoodenough
