This makes no sense. first it's
"Guaranteed $200 Best Buy Gift Card when you trade in any working smartphone and buy or lease and activate a Samsung Galaxy S7. " Than it says Not all phones are eligible for trade-in and trade-in value may vary. So it's basically if they want to give you a $200 gift card for your phone or not. Roll the dice

BB's trade-in system is really screwed up. ALL of their trade in promotions that promise you X dollars also have boilerplate that says "not all ____ eligible for trade in and trade-in value may vary." And their dumb employees point to that to deny you the X dollars that the ad promised.

If I remember correctly, there's a special button they have to click on the trade-in screen to get the promotional value. If they do it as a normal trade-in, then it will give you the "regular" trade-in value, which is probably $0. I'd say 95% of the employees don't know this.

You almost have to tell them how to do their own jobs.

I guess "ANY" working cell phone as the title says really won't work according to the conditions. Please change the title.

So here comes the obligatory question... Can you trade in more than one phone per purchase?

Former BBY employee here. Its specific in saying it must be a SMART PHONE, "not all phones qualify" means non-smart phones. Saying it must have power mean it can turn on from the battery (aka the phone isnt broken).. it isnt a battery life check.

My big question is.. can I use that $200 giftcard towards the down payment on the phone?

Little confused: can this be used toward an Edge as well? The pic and title just appear to show the regular S7?

If you are switching from another provider and have a device balance, are you able to get the $200 card plus the offer that AT&T will pay off the balance with your old provider or is it just one or the other?
