Please check out IMEI first, before buying any Virgin mobile phone.

https://my.ringplus.net/device_va...quests/new

Enable Native Tethering (for LG phones only):
Root with KingRoot
Download Shortcut Maker (Lite) from the Play Store
Three dots on upper right -> Search... -> Search for cham -> Launch Chameleon Payload Maintenance (com.huawei.sprint.chameleon.ui.NodeCategoryListActivity) -> Allow root
Settings -> TetheredData -> Edit -> 4

Native tethering worked perfectly with Leo3

For a quick comparison between the two $20 phones (Huawei Union & Alcatel Elevate) from my reading of both threads & jotting down various info & comments see THIS POST Post also includes the link to phonescoop comparing these 2 phones

For easy hands free activation follow the quick start guide in wiki here http://slickdeals.net/f/8525775-ringplus-cell-service-info-faqs-quick-start-wiki?v=1&src=SiteSearch
activate off box sticker with just mei and ICC ID. Don't provision, just turn on phone after R+ registration.

What's the difference between the Verizon Moto E and this Boost Moto E? I read that Verizon Moto E can't receive custom ROM, but can be GSM-enabled. Is it the same with Boost Moto E?
This Boost Moto E has tether option unlocked?
Last question: among all of them lower than $30, what would be the best for R+?
Thank you!

So yeah, which is better: Moto E or Tribute 2 for R+? Both are $29.99 now at BestBuy.

Tribute is better. It has flash, removable battery, and better looking. I had a Moto e that broke in my pocket with little pressure when I have had many in my pocket without issue. I have the union as well which is also better than the moto e but does lack the flash.

Moto E is better. Unlocked bootloader. Can root. Can load custom ROM (cm13 already wildly available). Built like a tank and rarely have people damaging it except one user here.

Does the Tribute 2's camera have auto focus? I thought read somewhere that it does not?

Ok. Thanks for the input guys. I have the Tribute 2 (from the Sprint prepaid deal) already. It's good but feel very plasticky consisting of low quality build materials. I'm not really interested in the flash given the camera itself isn't that great to begin with. I went went with the Moto E based on the many positive feedback for build quality and good camera quality in daylight situations even thigh it has no flash. And the fact it has custom ROMs for it is a big plus.

I have four Moto e. they are well built in quality. two of my Verizon even came with a blue case. I can't complain for the price. I paid $39.99 each so this is a great buy
