Sprint reportedly starts enforcing "new" financial eligibility rules for activating sprint-branded (and probably subsidized) phones with other carriers (e.g. Ringplus)
Basically, starting 4/17 you will have to use sprint prepaid phones exclusively on sprint for a whole year before you can use this phone anywhere else. For many people (me no exception) this effectively renders these phones close to useless.

Pretty sure you got to debrand it and flash a new rom on there. Unless you want to pay a website to provide you with a unlock code.
