How much should this car video install cost?

Hi,

Got a question.

Do you know how much an average person on CL should charge for installing these Pyle headrest monitors?

I have a double din dvd player that was installed by a professional.

I have a Toyota rav4 2011 if that helps.

I'm getting all sorts of different quotes ranging from 150-300.

I thought it would be around $100.

Thanks

Link doesn't work but if they are cutting the headrests and installing, plus running power and video/audio cables, $150-$300 is about right.

FYI: You can get the headrests already set up with video installed - they just replaces your entire headrest.

Yes - that color will look odd. I would color match better. Still needs to have power and the video connection routed and run properly. Probably looking at 1-2 hours total installation. $150 plus for sure I think. If you had waited for the head unit until you had these it probably would have been included for much cheaper. But there is a minimum anyone will charge that is worth it for them to do the job.

FYI: You can send out your headrests and have a monitor installed in them.

The wires have to be routed through the seat and then under the console or under the kick panels and through the dash. I don't imagine anyone doing that for $100.
