For everyone who asks - "Will this fit my 1994 Pontiac Testarossa GTO Hardtop with the tri-power headlights?" --- the answer is probably YES. This radio is a standard "single DIN" size radio --- DIN stands for Duetch Industri Normen and is a standard SIZE, a roughly 2" x 8" opening.

As to HD radio, I had it in an aftermarket radio in my last 'vert. Sounds GREAT! HOWEVER, unless you're in a major city w/o mountains, and where the stations are close by, you'll find that HD fades in and out, and is *very* annoying when it drops out then takes 3 seconds to reconnect, while you hear same show, time either faster or slower by a 1/2 second of so, in standard stereo. Can drive you nutz.

Last - Suggest you install it yourself, .9999 probability that you'll find instructions for your specific car, either on utube, or on a site devoted to the brand - from BWM to Chrysler, Ford, Honda, Toyota, Volvo.......
Faceplate adapter kits are $10-$12 on ebay instead of $35 at Bestbuy, ditto for the wiring adapter that lets you just plug it into *your* car's speaker/amplifier wiring.
Install your self. You don't want the cost of radio and installation exceed the worth of the vehicle... Big Grin

On the side note, will this fit my horse drawn carriage? I'd look it up, but I am too lazy.

Two things are missing from this unit:

1. HD Radio -- that depends on your location, but say here in Seattle area this is so much better than the usual FM (if you care for radio at all).

2. Dot matrix display -- if you care for anything (artist/song/album names etc) containing non-Latin characters (such as Cyrillics or German umlauts), segmented display can't show them, only the dot matrix one can.

These two above (and also Bluetooth A2DP, mic, USB, and mp3cd) were my requirements when I was searching for a car stereo. I ended up with Pioneer DEHX8600BH -- not that it's the best option or I would recommend it, it's just the one that has all the features I need.

On units with a USB port, yes. Although the amperage would be so low that it wouldn't be worth the effort. Better to have a dedicated cigarette lighter charger with at least 1 amp output. Then you can connect with Bluetooth.
