Verizon version has locked bootloader, thus NO custom rom. However, Note 4 t-mobile version has Rootable w/custom rom & recovery. Custom rom includes note 5 added features. Will be upgraded to marshmallow in couple of months. e*bay manufacture refurbish:

It has a micro SD slot up to 128 GB. Saw no tax in cali for me when I tried buying.

I want black... Still seems expensive... I want to upgrade... But still surviving on note 3

This is really tempting to get for my sister and dad who are still both on Galaxy S4 back in 2013. They were thinking about S7 but that's $700 or so and this one also has SD card, which I consider better than Note 5/S6.

I wonder if there's sales tax in NYC...

Can this be used in T Mobile. I see bands 1700 / 2100? CDMA etc. are the distinctions of old 2G etc. With LTE, both (CDMA and TDM) seems to have been combined at least on the phone (especially on the Verizon). I was able to change one Verizon phone (Motorola E or something which I bought for $10) to work on TM with friends from the internet Smilie

I think they are not fully compatible with T-Mobile. you may also not receive updates if you don't have active Verizon service
