Just received an e-mail from lemall.com. They are having a sale on 4/13/2016 to 4/14.2016 EST (48 hours) for the:

Letv X3-55 Pro 4K TV [lemall.com] for $549 + Free Shipping

Letv Max3-65 4K TV [lemall.com] for $699+ Free Shipping

Letv Box U3 [lemall.com] for 69.99 + Free Shipping

Accessories are $30 off $50

These TVs are also 3D capable and includes 2 pairs of passive 3D glasses.

Their TV and set-top boxes come with 1 year subscriptions of their TV service, which includes mostly Chinese shows and movies.

Their promotion [lemall.com] page (In Chinese, use google translate)

I have their 55" 4K TV from their last sale for $479. The TV works great except for some hdcp issues playing Hulu and Netflix using my nvidia shield. They did released a firmware that sort of fixed the problem. Also, you can side-load Kodi in these TVs and it works perfectly. No google play store though.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Seems like the 65 is oos / 55 still showing able to purchase.

DO NOT USE THE CHINESE VERSION OF THE FIRMWARE
The firmware does not compatible with the US version TV. Updating the firmware will result your TV stuck in the LeTV logo screen.

If you want to get the beta version of the latest firmware that fixes the HDCP/HDMI issue. You can reach out to the customer support.

Current owners for 55" : Please share your finding for this latest FW.

Says they use LG's ips screen, which I believe everyone on here says is no good. But, that is a pretty good price...

You know what's cool about this TV is that it has a translucent back cover so you can admire all of it's beautiful circuitry, while it's hanging on the wall. Brilliant. I guess when a cap explodes you can see which one, without opening it up.

Anyways, I dig LG IPS screens in big, bright environments. I might take a chance on this. I'm concerned about warranty or DOA though.

Kinda looks like a Vizio.

Have they fixed the 4k HDMI 2.2 issue yet with their new fw? No one is reporting anything on it.

They haven't officially fix the 4K HDMI 2.2 issue, but they released a beta firmware that "sort of" fixed the issue (I am still having issue with 5.1 audio in Netflix but I can disable 5.1 audio to get around it). According to the support staff on their forum, the official firmware is pending on certification and will be released soon.

So far I've been very happy with the purchase. The support staff have been very responsive. I even got follow up phone calls from their Beijing headquarters for issues I reported. If I haven't purchase the 55 inch version for $479, I would go with the 65 inch one this time.

I will probably bite once 80" 4k TV's go for around $1k.. (I don't think it will be too far away).

my 73" 1080P Mitsu DLP is still running strong and I have no complaints. (My only regret is that I should have paid $600 more for 82" instead - but then I could not justify 65% increase in price since I only paid $975 for the one I currently have).

I can't find any reviews etc, specs in english etc\

Ok i did google translate, Was able to read a good amount of info and specs. Surprised it weighs 67 lbs w/o stand when the tv is so incredibly thin.
Also this would have overseas type power connection wouldn't it? How would warranty work etc. Feels to risky to buy for USA

Not much review I know of... but user feedbacks from previous deal.

Don't know what LG IPS they use, but have a lot of light bleed, quite noticeable if your room is dark with a dark screen. Not sure about the Vesa mount as I got the stand option and didn't mount it to any walls. Sound isn't that impressive in my opinion.

$490 sounds like yuen... I think it was $79 or $99 USD for the video subscription, but in my opinion, there isn't much worth watching, not sure about sports as I think the subscription allows some sport streaming but I never watch sports... If you know mandarin, maybe it's worth it, since majority are in mandarin.
