Great price, but gray market unfortunately. Keep in mind Nikon USA won't take this in under warranty.

Be sure to check if your d750 is messed up before the return date. http://www.nikonusa.com/en/servic...-D750.html

I wouldn't mind buying it if I had the money.

Kind of want to drop the Sony FE system to go Nikon. The autofocus is killing me on the Sony.

Did yours have a weird serial number on the underside?

Bought this 2 weeks back.. This has been on 1299 for a time now.. Bought with 8x eBay bucks.. So u get 100$ bucks.. I would suggest waiting for a eBay bucks promotion.. The serial number is not part of the stock that was recalled by Nikon

Nikon's QC recently has been notorious.. More importantly, Nikon won't repair your grey market product even you pay them, this is YMMV tho but it is indeed what's written down in their repair terms.

Great price, but proceed with caution.

They will repair recall defects for grey market items. You can get 3rd party warranties for a fraction of the savings over US market items and you get much longer warranties (7 years vs 1 year).

The serial number may not have been part of the recall but I read where buyers said the number printed on the bottom of the body looked suspect and contained one extra character.

Good suggestion on waiting for the bonus ebay bucks. The only problem is that may not be anytime soon seeing as they just issued the previous quarter's vouchers.

I bought one from this seller for the same price one month ago. Camera was mint new in box with all accessories. The only thing missing was the kit lens which was expected. Wife has taken many pics and it's working flawlessly, far better than her D5000. My camera is not affected by the recall.

i also got this at that price about 6 months ago and had no issues at all. I also bought 3y warranty for 180$ so not too stressed about it. How did you guys check if the camera is affected by a nikon recall ?
thanks in advance

Edit: nvm, found it. Not affected.
