It's actually "1360x768" Probably a typo of the more typical resolution: 1366x768.

This manual says "Max. of Pixels (Resolution) FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution." That stops shy of saying it's actually 1920x1080 native resolution: http://www.curtisint.com/html/cus...96A_EN.PDF However, the PC subsection says "For the best results, please set your PC resolution to 1360x768 at 60 Hz.

Most other variants of the Proscan say it's 1366 x 768. Maybe Walmart got a special batch of TVs.

This Proscan's manual, doesn't mention 1080p. From the computer monitor section, it says the optimum resolution is 1360x768. http://www.curtisint.com/html/cus...A-D_EN.PDF

ProScan's Parent company Curtis has it listed as a 1366 x 768 resolution:http://www.curtisint.com/products...D3996A.pdf

okay guys, if you were going thumb down post at least comment why you did. Otherwise you look just like a butthead like you did it for no reason like you didn't like the guy because otherwise we have no idea whyor if something is wrong with the TV. as far as we know you just like to thumb down stuff......just saying...
I actually bought this tv from tigerdirect years ago for $230.
Anyway, the sound is bad. It's muffled. I had to go into the sound settings and adjust the treble, bass, etc.
And the tv has started making a hissing sound for about 10 minutes each time I turn it on.
So skip this.

Probably the cheapest 39" 1080p. Good deal. I just got a 32" otherwise would have gotten this.

I was about to get all over this deal, until I saw the only review:

Do not buy electronics from Proscan. We bought a tablet from them and it doesn't work, they refuse to replace it even though we purchased the extended warranty. We have contacted them multiple times and they refuse to do anything about it, and have been extremely rude and dismissive. Not only that but the product in itself was very cheep and poorly constructed. Definitely not worth it, they don't even deserve a one star rating.
I know sometimes an item has a problem, and if the company takes care of the customer, I won't weigh that as a negative. But a company that won't deal with a problem is a no-go.

If you look at the profiles of those who thumb down without comment you'll usually see that they spend day after day, deal after deal, thumbing everything down ( probably from their parents basement )
But they do sometimes leave smarta$$ comments, so maybe they're doing everyone a favor by not posting anything.

Probably the same ones that "claim" they are in for a couple $4000 watches on here...

Took a quick look and while there are not many sites that carry it, new egg has a 4 star average with 6 reviews.
Majority of people are happy with it, some commenting that the sound is not the best.

At $150 for a 39 inch 1080p TV it's most likely slick enough for a bedroom.

But the trolls here would probably claim it makes more sense to pay $1,000+ for that purpose.... hence the parents basement comment.

Seriously, you are going to take that stance on one solitary reviewer who is not even commenting on the product, just the company itself? I am astonished anyone would base his opinion on an entire company based on one unknown reviewer who had a bad experience.

Note the option to extend warranty an extra 2 years for only $10

EDIT: might be two years total, or an extra one year over manufacturers warranty. Hard to tell.
