Long Lasting Reliability with the Craftsman All Rubber Garden Hose 5/8" x 50'

Some hoses tend to get brittle if they spend too much time in the hot sun, and others won't last if stored outside in freezing weather, but the Craftsman Rubber Garden Hose 5/8 in. x 50 ft. isn't fazed at all. This rubber hose has the reputation of being tough enough to remain flexible in weather temperatures as low as 25 degrees below zero, and all the way up to 160 degrees. A crush-proof brass coupler brings long-lasting quality to this workhorse of a hose. The reinforced radial tire cord ensures a long lasting, reliable hose you can depend upon.
  • Craftsman Rubber Garden Hose 5/8" x 50' can withstand temperatures from -25 degrees up to 160 degrees
  • This all-rubber hose comes with a concave hexagonal shape and a crush-proof brass coupler for durability
  • The reinforced radial tire cord provides a single stream with 500 psi burst strength...

The same hose is also on sale through Kmart.com but it is $2 more ($24.99). It might be better for some to purchase through there if you shopyourway coupons and/or surprise points to use on Kmart.com. It was a better deal for though there since there was a $4 coupon on Home products sold on Kmart.com and I also had $10 surprise points for $20 purchase at Sears.com or Kmart.com. Might be worth a look for some.

Is this a good deal for this point in time?

I seem to remember the last batch we got were ~$15 IIRC

We want 50ft hoses, and need 600 ft to do our current project.

Is $23 the best we are going to do for the 50ft craftsman rubber hoses?

They were $13.99 in February, and seem to drop below $20 at various points throughout the year. If you need a bunch and you're not in a rush, you should wait.

I am pretty certain that's was for the 25' ones.

For whatever reasons I am tasked to get 50' hoses.

As they are the perfect porridge... not too long and heavy to handle like the 75'-100' , but not too many connection like the 25' ...just right...

Has anyone had experience returning one of these, does the warranty stand up?

We probably have ~ 40-50 of these things, never had a problem yet...

Is there a place that tracks pricing for items like this ?

Thanks, but I think this is for the 50' basic Green ones, not the rubber ones.

I think that is the 75' hoses that were not "perfect" last time I was trying to fulfill the request.

Apparently there is a BIG difference between the green and rubber, and those green ones are unacceptable...

I don't ever use them, but even I have seen a pronounced difference, would never buy anything other than these black rubber hoses, they don't kink in the same way, and they work when its cold.

That 50' is not the all rubber hose...not the same thing.

The 50' in that deal is not the rubber hose, it's the neverkink one. The 75' one is a rubber one, though.

You wouldn't happen to have the old ad saved by chance?

I seem to remember them going for less.

Our last stockpile of backups were all given away, so on the hunt to fulfill the current project, as well as put some on the shelf.
