What hotel are you looking at? Have you tried pricing it separately with the promo codes from www.mycheapvegas.com and you still might have some time for a seat sale but it's getting close.

6/29-7/3...That is just 1 person though...you didn't indicate how many people were travelling in your OP so I assumed 1.

If it is 2 it looks like it would be like $1200ish.

You could book 1 person through expedia and then use miles for the other.

buy separate. I never like package deals. You can save money by not renting a car.. you likely wont need it. Staying at an off-strip property will save you lots of money on hotels. If you arent dying to stay on the Strip, stay downtown.. thats a SLICK DEAL. Cheaper food, cheaper gambling and cheaper rooms. Not as grand and huge has the strip but you can see more and need a car less. The D Hotel and Casino has been recently renovated and I really like it. The Golden Nugget is the most "strip like" hotel and has a killer pool.

its been my go-to for Vegas questions for almost 10 years. Helpful forum.

Get the airline alerts for Virgin and Jetblue and they always have sales on Tuesdays. If staying at the Venetian or Cosmo, I think that's Total Rewards and they have sales on line and when you gamble at any of their hotels and place your card in the slots or blackjack tables, when you check out the rooms are sometimes comped.

We did it last year and stayed at The Flamingo but flew in from NY in July during the holy hotta hell week, nothing less than 115.

Good luck and have fun.

I'm going at the end of May and we booked through http://keleevegas.com the prices beat hotels.com and Expedia. I've stayed at Bally's before and staying there again in May. I think it's the best price + location the rooms are big, clean and it's in the central strip area

Your best bet flying to LAS from SMF is Southwest, I'm pretty sure that Southwest is the only direct flight from SMF nowadays. You can save a little money if you want to fly out of Stockton via Allegiant Airlines but you'd probably want to get dropped off there and not leave your car. The parking lot there is a little sketchy.

Regarding hotel I second what Eskimopie on using the promo codes from www.mycheapvegas.com , I've rarely seen a packaged deal that was cheaper than booking seperately.

FYI, US Travel Association has their daily getaways. There's a deal for a Piazza Suite, 2 nights, for $495. The deal doesn't start until 4/21/16 though. Link [ustravel.org] . The promo is one per person but if you have a second person travelling with you, they can buy one package and you both can book consecutive dates. There are blackout dates and I confirmed that your dates aren't subject. Good luck and have fun!
