Enjoy 2 GB of free wireless data after using Android Pay

We already love our devices for everything from communicating and entertainment, now they're even more useful with mobile payments. Starting today, you can enjoy 2 GB of free Verizon data, good for two billing cycles, when using Android Pay. Simply open the app to get started. Tap anywhere in stores Android Pay is accepted and receive 1 GB of free data. On your third tap, we’ll throw in another free gig.

You can use Android Pay at over 1.5 million locations (and counting…) across the US, everywhere tap and pay payments are accepted, including the places you shop and eat every day: Macy’s, Peet’s Coffee, Subway, Trader Joe’s, Walgreens, Whole Foods, and more.

Eligible subscribers can also combine this offer with current deals, such as receiving 2 GB of shareable monthly bonus data when you upgrade or activate a new phone on device payment on the Verizon Plan XL or larger.

Google Wallet and Android Pay are 2 separate things now, so no.

You would think google would want to offer this to their project fi members but obviously not. I could go for free gigs on my plan.

Google is obviously sharing your data with Verizon!
When I opened the Android Pay app, I got a card showing this promo.

I think this is an important point. Who know it could be for as long as you use Android Pay? Like Shoprunner is free for Amex holders, not just a one time thing.

Also this doesn't work for me and I didn't know until I read the fineprint. I'm on Verizon post paid, but with the smallest 1GB plan. $30 + $20 access fee + about $5 tax and other fees.
