LG G2 Issue on Ringplus
I made a Freedompop free account, activated the phone, called in to customer support to cancel the account and release the phone. Later that day the MEID showed it was clear.
I needed to turn on the phone to get the ICC number, but as expected I didn't have service. I turned on airplane mode and used Wifi to update the phone and install some apps.
Last night I was able to activate the phone on Ringplus. I did a PRL update and initially was able to make calls and text messages, and LTE was working fine. Then after a little while when attempting to make a call or a text I started to get the following pop up:
Activation step required: This device is ready for activation. Please press the 'activate' button to continue, or visit our website Freedompop.com.
Then I have buttons for 911 Text, Retry, and Activate. Sometimes it will assume I mean to activate and take me to a page to update and fill in the phone information.
Anyone know how to stop this?
