Darn I was hoping for a deal on Smart Security as my current support recently expired.
Is NOD32 roughly equivalent?

NOD32 is just AV, whereas SS has firewall and antispam.

Seems like the security suite rarely goes on sale, but that's what I use, and like it.

Personally, at $6.50/yr for this against Microsoft Security Essentials/Microsoft Defender. I'd go with this for the piece of mind hands down, and I have (although I got the 1yr for 3pc for FAR a few months ago). Still, from what I've read and seen ESET is a great virus protection that doesn't bog down your system, where as MSE/MD is pretty basic and doesn't do as good of a job in terms of protection.

Thanks, yeah that's what I figured.
Still might get this or continue to wait on SS, don't know yet.

My A/V doesn't expire until Aug 2016. If I buy this can I wait to install it until August and still get 2 years of protection?

Yes, you can. 2 years start after you install and activate the product.

Last time I bought it, it was $11.99/2 years. For $10 (w/ free shiping via Shoprunner), I'm in for another one. Thank you, OP.

Been using ESET NOD32 (either this version of the Security Suite) for the past four years. Great software. I always try to pick it up when the 3 user is free after rebate from Newegg/Fry's.

I think I'm down to my last year, and if it came down to it, I'd be willing to pay $20 (without rebate) for a 3 user license. Hands down, best AV out there.
