So this blog is basically a place for us to read the thoughts of the mods? A simple yes or no will suffice. No need for a lengthy response.

The blog is looking pretty nifty so far. I am still poking around. But so far, I like what I see!  EDIT: Can regular users contribute to the Blog? Say I have a really good review to contribute. We may consider that in the future. Right now the blog is for mods and staff only, but really we want to use it as another avenue to communicate with the public. We want to use it to feature things like news articles, bargain hunting tips, site updates, and even let you get to know the staff better.
Certainly, however, you can recommend topics for us and we would certainly think about posting it

so product reviews.. what are they based upon? How are the products chosen? For instance, is Dell involved at all with the first one?
I highly doubt it, but it's gotta be asked.

Pretty random i think. Mods will review whatever they feel like reviewing -- most likely things that have been featured on slickdeals before, or whatever we can get our hands onto

Dont let no0bs enter into the laptop giveaway. That was horrible and caused a huge influx of spammers here. Worst decision ever.
 Anyways the blog looks ok. I will need to check it out more though.

damn, so this is where everybody went
i invested my time in sp33dfr34k's review new theme? earlier today I was thinking "wow, this theme is too colorful, i need something that makes it look like i'm looking at something work-related." then i tried switching to ice and the midnight one and MY EYES MY EYES  Proud Chase Sapphire Preferred owner Favorite deals: lots of free iTunes codes on ticketmaster from creating facebook accounts (2007) lots of free stuff from Pepsi (2008) lots of free items from $10 off $10 from creating Amazon accounts (2008) $150 for Logitech Z5500 |
